WTF!!!
Now this is not part of the assignment but since I am here I have wondered why they are making us read weird fonts to post our comments is it that if we were drunk, high, or really old that we are not allowed to post comments. Because I have heard that people think the most clearly when high, and old people have the wisdom of thousands of days it's just racist. Finally drunk people are really funny and I think if they were allowed to post comments it could make us laugh and brighten our day. So WTF!

The Great Hippie Hunt

Atlanta recently has been looking for a turn-around in their hippie and homosexual population. The hippies are being persecuted for being a hippie, living in the hippie district, or even associating with the hippies. There have cases of unauthorized search warrants and use of weaponry against the hippies. A college professor's wife was clubbed in the head and later handcuffed for trying to calm a police officer. This is a witch hunt because it involves a stereotype and a wide spread conviction of hippies in general.

Darfur is in the flames of a witch hunt they were in poverty and stricken with hunger when 2 rebel groups began an uprising in the government. In rebuttal the Sudanese government unleashed an armed militia to destroy the rebels. It became a scorched earth campaign with the militia destoying everything in their path from rebels to innocent civilians. This is like a a witch hunt because they have a certain target and have blown the whole thing out of proportion.

The allegations of Child Abuse and Sexual Abuse pertaining to Catholic higher officials such as priests, monks, and nuns. It was a witchunt because it was a vast persecution unsupported by fact or reason that was vastly targeted toward innocent people although in some cases it was found to be true it was not a mass epidemic. It did not involve the killing of these officials but it did cause sentencing and quitting of officials which caused a mass upheaval in the Catholic body.
